Was worried the minute we walked in, but decided to stay....I was served a brown salad, our waiter smelled like a cigarette and we found three roaches lurking around our table. The waiter gave us 20% discount due to the roaches.....YUK

The food is excellent! The atmosphere is perfect—not too stuffy, but a little above the average "spring break" crowd. The waiter was attentive but not so much as to be a bother. Some nights they have live music and dancing, although I've never been at the right time to see it. I think it's mostly on the weekends. Also, the dance floor is fairly small, so I don't know how enjoyable it would be. Everything else is top notch. I don't know what you call the cuisine, maybe Steak & Seafood? That's about all they have on the menu, which can be pricey, but it's well worth the money. My personal favorite is Petite Filet Mignon cooked medium well. My Dad loves the steak with blue cheese and Italian bread crumbs, can't remember what it's called. Their desserts are also delicious.

We were a family of five with a small child, and I would not recommend this restaurant. Nowhere is it advertised that this is a fine dining restaurant, meaning only seafood and steak. We didn't know to make reservations - we just walked in. And rather expensive for the service we received. But I would recommend it to someone looking for that type of dining. Later in the evening, they have live music, and it was located right on the beach, which was beautiful.

The Breakers

Indoor dining with floor to ceiling windows offering a view of the beach and ocean. Music was instrumental favorites from the 40s played quietly in the background. Very relaxing and peaceful. Glass top tables with cloth napkins, waiters in dress pants and white shirts, definately a more upscale restaurant. Ordered prime cut sirloin with mushrooms and onions, fresh green beans and rice pilaf, ice tea and house salad. Everything came just as I ordered. Waiter was attentive but unobtrusive.

The steak was flavorful and juicy as were the green beans. The rice was fluffy and lightly seasoned and sprinkled with parsley.

Ordered some kind of chocolate extravaganza to take with me for dessert later. Was definately full after meal. The dessert had a layer of moist cake, a layer of liquid caramel, a layer of creamy light fudge topped with chocolate syrup with bits of toffee and pecans. Sinfully rich and delicious.

Meal cost about $23 dessert and all but was worth every penny.
