Tiwi Halo-Halo

DCJ Halo-Halo in Tiwi is where the best halo-halo is found. Halo-halo is a Filipino term for a dessert that has a mix of crushed ice, evaporated milk with beans, milk flan, and other colorful ingredients topped with a scoop of ice cream. Although this is served anywhere in the country, the town of Tiwi earned the title of serving the best tasting ever.

Tiwi is not as progressive as any other town in Bicol. Even if it’s not part of our itinerary, it's worth the trip to taste this one-of-a-kind cold dessert mix. DCJ Halo-Halo place is just a small bistro serving different kinds of local desserts. It is well-lighted and a favorite of families, especially the kids.
