We went to Awful Arthur’s in Charlottesville. We really enjoyed the food there. Unfortunately, that location has closed since then, though they do have other locations in VA.
We had something similar to the Awful platter, which came with shrimp, hush puppies, crab cake, vegetables, and rice. You get to choose items from a list. We also had steamed clams as an appetizer. I was in seafood heaven! We shared a piece of chocolate cake at the end that was big enough for both of us and was delicious. The atmosphere was casual and friendly.
If you love seafood and you’re nearby one of their locations, you have to try it. Everything was good and we got a lot of food for what we paid. Our bill came to be about $54 with tip.
