Description: Mi Casa is the place to go to experience great Mexican food in a culturally interesting restaurant. This is the Mexican-style restaurant you picture when you think of authentic local food. Advertised as having an "old Cabo" feel, the ambiance is fabulous, the service is excellent, and the menu is extensive.
When you walk into the very unassuming restaurant, it looks small from the street. However, once inside, it opens up to a series of four patios. There is something unique to look at on every wall. It also appeared to be a place that both locals and tourists frequent.
The menu specializes in traditional Mexican food. We were overwhelmed by the numerous choices that sounded wonderful, and thus we over-ordered with appetizers and large dinner platters. I recommend the shrimp taco appetizer and tomales main course (which includes three types of tomales with three different sauces to represent the flag of Mexico). An example of the superb service was when my husband inquired with our waiter about the lobster and the waiter politely suggested another because he thought the lobsters that came in today were too small.
We really enjoyed our meal here and will return. In fact a couple sitting nearby were returning because Mi Casa is their favorite restaurant that they discovered on a prior vacation.
