Sheridan's Frozen Custard is not ice cream. It's custard, made every hour at the shop. The texture is smoother, creamier and thicker than ice cream or frozen yogurt. It's also about 90% fat free!
The frozen yogurt comes in a cup and you can add your own toppings. All the toppings we've tasted have been fresh and generous. The pieces of candy are large so they are noticeable. The fudge or caramel toppings are dripping all down the sides, plentiful with each bite. All right, all the calories are in the toppings, but it's so good!!!
My wife always gets the Royal Turtle which is custard covered in hot fudge, caramel, pecans and cherries. One of my daughters loves the Straw-Ana which is custard covered with sliced strawberries and bananas. I like the Elvis Concrete which is custard, peanut butter and bananas all blended up to a firmer consistency.
Definitely plan to try this at least once. Eat lighter during the day so you can afford the calories of the great toppings. Oh, there are heaters which blow warm air on the people ordering from the window, so don't worry about the cold!
