This is the best $1 breakfast in Long Beach! This is a locals-only very low key place that specializes in breakfast. Here are some highlights:
1. Mon-Fri 7am-11am: Breakfast for $1 includes two eggs and a choice of hearty potatoes or two pancackes.
2. The Monte Cristo is enough to feed two people for $5.95. It comes with an excellent grape sauce.
3. The real specialties here are the different fruit French toast plates. Again, they're enough to feed two, with choices like cream cheese and strawberry, apple, banana walnut, and many others.
4. Regular breakfasts are very reasonable.
This is a very casual place. There are a few tables on the sidewalk for smokers and about 10 boots and 5 tables inside. I think it is the best value for the money for breakfast and is a three block walk from the beach (up Gaviota, turn left at Broadway, one block down).
