Bonhi (The Original)

It has very good service, and the food is delicious and very cheap!

Now, there are two restaurants. There is a restaurant next door with the same name - the restaurant used to be located there, and when they moved, the new owners kept the name AND menu. The new owners wanted to cash in on the popularity of this well-known veggie restaurant.

The original Bonhi is the one closest to Phang Ngu Lao (the main street) Another way to tell that you are at the original (and the best) is looking at the menu or talking to the staff. The front page of the menu has a letter explaining about how the place next door stole their name.

The food is so fantastic and yum. Meals are about 20,000 dong each (less then A$2), sometimes less! Make sure you try the tampuras - YUM!

Enjoy, as I’m sure you will!
