I know what you're thinking: "Italian food in Austria?" Well, if it is at the Pfedderstahl, then YES! The owners (a husband and wife) refurbished an old horse stable (hence the name, "Pfedderstahl") into a fine restaurant (it was actually where the local fire department kept their horses)! They have outside tables that sit right on the lakeshore, as well as tables in the "stalls" inside. Although they serve mainly Italian food, they do have local desserts (WOW!) and traditional Austrian dishes. They also have a fully stocked bar, and are open from mid-morning until late at night!
