The atmosphere at Cappuccinos is very nice, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. My husband ordered the steak, and basically, that was all he got, with a few mushrooms. He said the gravy tasted instant, and he was not impressed.
I am a vegetarian, and I ordered the only meal I could find suitable for vegetarians. It was a bowtie pasta with cream sauce, saffron, and truffles (mushrooms). It was basically pasta with mushroom soup on it, and it really tasted like Campbells! Three-fourths of the way through my meal, I realized that the tiny pieces that I thought were mushrooms were actually pieces of pork! Since I had stressed to the waitress that I was vegetarian and she had assured me that the meal was vegetarian, we weren't happy. My husband was raging, but I have had this happen before, and I have learned to deal with it. I am part of a minority, so what do I expect? But, considering the price of the dish ($17.95), I did expect what I was told I was getting. The waitress was apologetic and took the meal off the bill. She even offered to buy us dessert. I felt very bad for her and didn't take her up on the offer. All in all, the food is not very good, and I don't recommend you waste one of your precious dinners at Cappuccinos.
