One of Our Favorite Restaurants in Freeport

Whenever we are in Freeport, this is my first choice for dinner. It is not the most fabulous restaurant, but it is very cozy and quaint. This food is always good, we have never had a bad meal and it is reasonably priced. If you get there early you can get the early bird special, one of their pasta dishes with a glass of wine for about $15. You can't beat that, especially in the bahamas. Everyone there is always nice and pleasant. If you are looking for a good, inexpensive, nice intimate dinner, look no further than Cappuccino's

The atmosphere at Cappuccinos is very nice, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. My husband ordered the steak, and basically, that was all he got, with a few mushrooms. He said the gravy tasted instant, and he was not impressed.

I am a vegetarian, and I ordered the only meal I could find suitable for vegetarians. It was a bowtie pasta with cream sauce, saffron, and truffles (mushrooms). It was basically pasta with mushroom soup on it, and it really tasted like Campbells! Three-fourths of the way through my meal, I realized that the tiny pieces that I thought were mushrooms were actually pieces of pork! Since I had stressed to the waitress that I was vegetarian and she had assured me that the meal was vegetarian, we weren't happy. My husband was raging, but I have had this happen before, and I have learned to deal with it. I am part of a minority, so what do I expect? But, considering the price of the dish ($17.95), I did expect what I was told I was getting. The waitress was apologetic and took the meal off the bill. She even offered to buy us dessert. I felt very bad for her and didn't take her up on the offer. All in all, the food is not very good, and I don't recommend you waste one of your precious dinners at Cappuccinos.

This is a very lovely restaurant for an evening of relaxation. It is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The people are very friendly and courteous, and explain what the different dishes are if your Italian is not too good. The service is great, the food is delicious, the wine, well, what can I say about that! A must place to eat at.

ALTHOUGH WE DIDN'T HAVE RESEVATIONS, WE GOT A TABLE. WE CHOOSE TO DINE OUTSIDE ON A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, AS WAS THE WINE, FOOD. ON OTHER NIGHTS WE COULDN'T GET IN BECAUSE IT WAS BOOKED.
