The Journey's End

This is a character pub next to old thatched cottages. You can also walk to the beach at Ahymer Cover three-fourth’s of a mile away. Park the car at the car park on your left as you come into the village opposite the church, then walk 150m down the road. (Don't try and park any closer – it’s really narrow and not worth it, as it’s a dead end and hard to turn if there’s no space).

They have real ales and great homemade pizzas (a great base, but a little too much cheese for my taste). Otherwise, see the daily-specials boards for fish and meats. The bar menu has most of the usual suspects and a good homemade burger. You can eat in either pub garden. The food has always been a good value for the money and good quality.
