Wanted to have a lunch out on our last day, so being in Antibes, found the lovely little restaurant up a side street. There were quite a lot of tables, but in a variety of rooms, so fairly quiet for eating. Whilst trying to translate the menu, we were handed an English one, which was so much easier. Picked the Plat du Jour, 15 euros for me and 19 euros for J(Hubby).
I had an enormous salad for starters whilst he had sliced cured ham. Mine was then followed by scorpion fish (delicious), and he had the veal. Of course, this pig had to have a sweet, but J refrained and had the Gallic coffee instead. There was absolutely no rush between courses, we could enjoy ourselves watching the food being cooked in the ovens next to our table.
