So far, of all the places we''ve been, this is truly a "dining experience"! Visit Moon
Palace''s web site that describes each of their 10 restaurants. The pix that comes up on the restaurants site has a fruit and vegetable bar that you have to see in person to appreciate. We''ve gone to full buffets that were not as big as their fruit and vegetable bar alone.
There''s a wonderful choice of restaurants there, but the most important thing is that the food was wonderful. We''d have to say this is our favorite resort, our favorite restaurants, or let''s just say best "dining experience" we''ve had so far. (And I’ve been a truck driver most my life, so you know I like my food.)
The only restaurant you''ll need reservations at is the Japanese restaurant. There''s just about any type of atmosphere you''ll want and you can eat at about any time of the day or night.
Sue and I enjoyed eating at all the restaurants which I believe all overlook the ocean; 2 restaurants surround an indoor pool and hot tub, several places for fine dining, buffets that were indoor and outdoor, we ate outside in a gazebo watching live music by the ocean, did room service which they cater very well, and in several other perfect settings.
And the best thing is, if you get tired of dining at all the Moon/ Sunrise Resort restaurants or room service, you can take their free shuttle into Cancun and go to one of the several other resorts that belong to Moon Palace and eat and drink there for free too!!! I''m not talking cheap food and drink, I''m talking steaks, huge shrimp, crab legs, awesome fresh buffets, fruit, salad and vegetable bars, and even premium beers and liquor--not just shelf/ domestic drinks!
