Behind Plaza Bonita is the marina. There are dozens of restaurants lining the beautiful ocean here. Be careful because "hostesses" stand in fron blocking your passage in order to persuade you to eat in her establishment. They shove menus in your face and offer free wines etc. From my experience, all these restaurants offer pretty much the same menu. . .lots of fish and meat and one or two pasta dishes. Do not be discouraged by these pushy hostesses, once you sit down, the atmosphere will be relaxed and enjoyable.
I ate at La Galleria and Pocho's. Both had good food. Mariachi bands and local children will come to your table numerous amount of times to offer their services. If you don't want it, just say "no". They will leave you alone. Don't be fooled that the marina restaurants will be chilly because they are on the water. It is actually warmer that the main street during the night. After dinner take a stroll around the whole marina. It is beautiful and romantic.
