Vegetarian Palate

Located on the busy streets of Flatbush Avenue, this is a haven to the vegans and vegetarians in the Park Slope area. Although its menu is similar to that of Vegetarian Paradise 2, there are no relations between the two.

Soft music and a warm smile greet you as you enter and are seated. The menu features a wide range of mock-meat items, including chicken, duck, beef, and even eel. All your taste buds will be on active duty as you dine in this place. The food does not have a lot of grease or oil and their sauces are excellent. As for the salad, there nothing else like it. When you taste their Crispy Soul Chicken, you won’t want to leave. With food like this, I don’t know why people eat meat.

They have a wonderful lunch special from noon until 4pm. Excellent! This place is no. 2, behind VP2 of course.

So how do you get to this paradise? Take the no. 2 to Bergen Street and walk towards Grand Army Plaza. It’s located between St. Marks Avenue and Prospect Place. You can’t miss it.
