This is my standard stop for a quick bite to eat, as it's right outside the university. you can grab a tasty shawerma for under $2, or a variety of other sandwiches. Believe it or not, the most popular sandwich they sell is a philly cheese Steak. Right next door, under the same management is an ice cream parlour, with delicious desserts. You can grab a cone here for $1, and no dessert cost more than $2 (that I've seen). Clearly, this is a place to go on a student's budget.
