The place consists of Cabalo Negro Restaurant and Lucky Bug Gallery. You can visit the shop/gallery after dining. One enters by footbridge across a small fish pond. This, as well as the bright colors around the gallery, add to the fun.
The restaurant is located in a palapa (round building with a palm frond roof) which is very well done and decorated with some of the items which are sold in the gallery. The food served definately has a German flair since the owners, the Krauskops, are German immigrants. There are also other international and vegetarian dishes available so everyone should be happy. The food here is very good. Desserts are a special touch of the house. Beer, wine and juices are available. Your waitresses will probably be the very nice triplet daughters of the owners.
This is the best restaurant I have found in the Arenal area.
