Of course, everyone had two FULL ziplock bags of the ever-present trail mix (granola, pretzels, nuts, raisins, dried banana chips, mini-marshmallows, and mini M&Ms), which was the standby at any meal which wasn't your favorite or left you still hungry.
As for where to eat lunch, we often stopped at empty campsites, or found an area where we could tie the canoes up and eat on some rocks in the sun. Sometimes we'd eat while just floating around in the middle of the lake (if you do this, make sure you don't drop any trash into the lake). Whatever relaxing spot you can find is perfect!
