New York, New York

As for the food, once again, style prevails over anything else. Don't get me wrong, the food is actually very good but don't expect a "Peter Luger's" type steak house. While steak, I guess, is their main dish, they also serve Italian fare. I recommend the Penne with yellow tomatoes and ricotta, or the Chilean Sea Bass (which they serve as a special only, but it's always been a special every time I've gone there.) The desserts are top-notch. The Fried Angel Food Cake with Strawberries and Raspberry Sorbet is excellent.
Last but not least, the price. This place is WAY OVERPRICED!! Make sure you hit the ATM across the street or have enough money available on your credit card! Expect to pay, with a bottle of wine, around $125 - $150... PER PERSON! But, if you're willing to part with the green, this makes an excellent Midtown Manhattan choice.
