I agree with the other reviewer that this restaurant, at 54 Rue des Rosiers, makes the most wonderful falafel.

The falafel sandwich and the plate both come with some slices of eggplant cooked in such a way that they become the creamiest, most delicious vegetable I have ever tasted. I wish I knew how they did it!

The food was so good I had to go back the next day for some more!

Oh my gosh, Chez Hannah has the best falafel sandwiches I have ever had!! I don't remember the exact address to this place, but it's on rue des Rosiers. You'll find it if you walk along it. There's always a line outside it.

I say that these are the best because they are full of goodies. The pita is bursting and dripping with juices. On top of the falafel they add these sautéed eggplants, and oh, oh, the sauces. They give you a fork because there's no other way to eat it than from the inside out. The chicken pita is just as good, if not better, than the falafel.

So there's two ways you can have the best falafel of your life. You can stand outside the restaurant and order one from the walk-up window for about 4€, or you can eat in the restaurant and pay 4€ extra for anything you order. I'm not kidding!

So stand in line to get a budget lunch or a quickie dinner. Cop a squat on the sidewalk and roll your eyes back as you enter falafel heaven. Make sure to grab extra napkins!! Enjoy.
