The best coffee around, and it truly rivals Peets Coffee which i used to get home delivered. Locally roasted beans, this buzz of a coffee shop has wooden floors, little cafe tables, inside and on the curb outside in the summer. The college kids play music, cook fresh baked goods for the case in the front, and everything is so tasty.

Raos is located in back of some shops and food places off the main strip. You won’t find better coffee, possibly in all of Massachusetts. They usually have a coffee of the day, which is excellent, along with every tea, cocoa, or cider you could want. I recommend an Angry Cow, which is essentially hot milk with flavoring. They have many baked goods as well. (My favorite is getting one of their large peanut butter cookies with a great cup of black coffee.) The place is usually packed, but there is lovely café-style seating outside too. (This coffee is also available in the lobby of the University of Massachusetts library if you can’t make it to the café.)
