We were walking around in Asheville and decided to pop in for a quick bite. I love seafood, so this place seemed like a no-brainer. Boy, was I happy we found this place!
Our waitress was cute and perky but not annoying. The decor was funky but not pretentious. But what made this place sing was the food. Oh, the wonderful food.
Of course I ordered a lobster dish, the Maine Lobster Roll, which was chopped lobster and lettuce on a hot dog bun. The lobster was plentiful and delicious. It came with a small bowl of steamed potatoes cooked to perfection. The drinks we ordered from the bar were served promptly and were quite delicious.
This place was voted the number-one seafood place in Western North Carolina, and deservedly so. If you are in downtown Asheville, definitely seek this place out. Besides seafood, it also offers vegetarian fare as well as regular meat-and-potatoes dishes.
