Very Disappointed!

We had a party of six for the family style dinner when we walked in and let me tell you the biggest mistake was that we even stepped in this place. They charged full price for a child as if they were an adult. The only food that was eatable was the salad. The chicken cutlet wqs very thin, burnt around the edges and the chesse was micro on top. The fried mozzarella was like rubber which had to be sent back."Are you kidding me". Even the spinach was horrible. Lets not forget the fetticini alfredo that was cold and pasty. We even had a problem with the soda, twice it was flat. If anyone decides to read this review please take our advice and anyone else who has been there with the same experience.

Food Was Good, Service Was Terrible

The food when served was good, plentiful and tasty. The service was terrible. Table of 5 people, too many times all glasses were empty and all we had was soda, tea and water - not too tough to keep handy. Asked 3 times to get the lights turned on in our section - they were working on it....30 minutes. Couldn't describe the food to us when ordering. Poor experience, the food wasn't good enough to compensate.

Service Needs Help

A group of us went after work around Christmas time, we were having a good time until one of the waitresses asked us to "hurry up and finish" we could not believe our ears. They were telling us to hurry up so that they could seat a group that was having a Christmas party. But they didn't need our seats, as well as there being other seating in the restaurant that they could have used. We requested to speak with the manager, he was rude and short with us as if it was our fault that they were overbooked. They were clearing the dishes before we were done eating, it was just a matter of saying they could have handled the situation better than what they did!! They didn't offer to seat us somewhere else or anything. That was the most horrible experience that I have ever had!!

The place was hopping when we arrived for dinner, but despite no reservation and seven people in our party, we were seated quickly and immediately approached by our waiter.

This restaurant serves individual meals as well as the more popular family-style ones. We decided to go with individual meals. The memorable dishes included the lasagna, the angel pasta with garlic shrimp, and the old-fashioned pepperoni pizza. The lasagna and pasta dish provided HUGE portions upon delivery. Both ended up being put into takeout bags at the end of the meal. The alcoholic beverages were served promptly and were delicious.

Our waiter was delightful and easily entertained us during our meal. He was attentive despite having one of the busier sections in the restaurant that evening.

I highly recommend this restaurant as a place to go in Charlotte for excellent Italian food: the prices were great, the portions were huge, and the service was outstanding.
