Upon a friendly recommendation, we had a luncheon at Little Napoli, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience had a warm and welcoming feel to it, and this was a quintessential romantic outing in a modern American-Italian restaurant. It also helps to note that background music was provided by none other than Bocelli. I had the salmon pasta dish and was thrilled to find that the pasta was a fine compliment to the salmon, and the service was expedient.
The wine selection includes French, Italian, and other European wines, from places like Spain and Portugal. The portion size of the food was generous, and the menu advertised a 100-year-old recipe for bread. I have nothing but compliments for the food and the service. Although it was a bit pricey, the food and the dining experience is worth every bit of it. I look forward to returning in the near future.

We had lunch, which was very reasonable. Most appetizers, of which we consumed several, were $5 (there were four of us). The bread is made from a 100-year-old recipe and is crusty and delicious, and the eggplant lasagna is the best I've ever eaten. The wine steward recommended a wine, and when we weren't crazy about it, they insisted that they take it back and try a different bottle. The service was impeccable, the staff accommodating, the ambience warm and inviting, and the food absolutely delicious!
