Yummy food and views!

This place has good pork and brisket! We completely enjoy it every time we visit and appreciate the cool island breezes that accompany the dinner. They have huge window/doors that open out toward the beach and make it feel like you are dining out doors even though you are inside.

If you like BBQ, this is a great place to go. I had the pulled pork with cole slaw and baked beans. The meal was very tasty and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. My husband and I had planned to save room for the chocolate coma cake but unfortunately we were stuffed and just didn't have the room! There was a full moon the night we were there and the view was just gorgeous but we didn't have our camera! The only complaint that we had was that the service was incredibly slow.

It had excellent food and a great view!! This restaurant is located on the ocean side of the road on the second story. The seating is arranged on tiers, so each table has an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. The food was terrific, slow-roasted barbecue. The portions were very large. I took the leftovers with me and couldn't wait to eat them. The service was also very good; the staff was very pleasant and efficient, even helping each other out. It was very busy and we didn't have to wait for anything: the food came quickly and the drinks were filled promptly, yet we didn't feel rushed.

This place is great. I was surprised to find a terraced seating -- all with great views of the beach and surf. There is a a grass lawn, then a palm-lined beach with surf. The furnishings are new, nice wood/mahogony furnishings - with a beach atmosphere. Great Bar-B-Que with St. Louis, Carolina, and Hawaiian options. Fresh fish and a friendly staff. Fair prices (nice after a week of high prices). The restaurant is on second floor, and the view to the ocean is wide because the walls slide up and away.

My husband and I were just trying the "ONO" restaurants, but as I was reading the book, I found that Scotty's is owned by the author of the book, and they didn't want to give themselves an ONO ... well, they certainly deserve it! They have wonderful barbecue - we had the pulled pork. Terrific service and a GREAT view (right on the ocean).
