Our party was seated promptly when we showed up for our reservation. The dining room of Rain is very chic with contemperary booths, white tablecloths, ecclectic lighting, beaded curtains, and a waterfall gently cascading over the sleek metal walls. It was really something! The blue-tinged decor made this a very calming place to dine.
The service at Rain was on top of things, from suggesting appropriate wine to bringing out complimentary appetizers and desserts. They made our experience very enjoyable as the whole staff was nothing but pleasant.
The entrees at Rain leaned toward the pricey side, but were all very good. Our table enjoyed the Lemon Sole and the Roasted Chicken very much. However, there was no vegetarian options to speak of on the main menu, but rather only appetizers. The tomato consomme was excellent though, so vegetarians don't completely miss out on the dining experience here.
For dessert, our server bought out an assortment of chocolates and cookies that were compliments of the chef. They were all delicious, and such a nice way to end the evening and dining experience at Rain!
