Sikkim is an eclectic combination of cuisines. For starters we had Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Italian. Our entrées were excellent: I had the almond, honey SeaBass on a bed of couscous. They have a decent choice of wines as well. The atmosphere is candlelit with tapestries and globally influenced wall hangings. Good for a change of pace from Tapas Bars. It's located in El Born.

I don't know what I like better about this place: the mood or the food. Both are outstanding. It's a cool place that you would imagine serves Indian or Southeast Asian food, but in fact it's a bit of everything.

I'd say the menu is Mediterranean-based (olive oils, fresh veggies, pastas, fish, roasted and grilled meats) that are prepared with an Eastern flare. A great wine list accompanies the great food.

I ate here for $35. My meal included an appetizer (a fabulous avocado salad), entree (teriyaki chicken and Mediterranean veggie kabab with mango-infused couscous), coffee, and wine. I will continue to go here every time I'm in Barna.
