This unique ‘50s-style chain restaurant is a perfect stop for lunch. As a mix between a fast-food establishment and a diner, the atmosphere is quite fun. While the Inner Harbor Johnny Rockets location is not the largest (it only has three booths that seat four and three that seat two), the food is great and the service speedy. Their menu consists of various types of burgers, traditional sandwiches, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and malts. I had the tuna salad sandwich and the half fries, half onion rings plate with a Diet Coke with vanilla. If you look on the menu, you will see that, for a little bit extra, you can flavor your fountain drink with lemon, vanilla, chocolate, or cherry syrup. My Diet Coke with vanilla was the best soda I have ever had (if you want a really sweet soda, ask for four squirts of the syrup).
The decor of the place is traditional ‘50s diner. The booths are red and white. There is a small jukebox on each table. If you put a nickel in, it will play your song selection in the dining area for everybody. The music will not come out of the jukebox. Overall, the Johnny Rockets Inner Harbor is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat and travel back in time.
