Originally a warehouse space, all the owners did was paint the walls white, giving the space a minimalist quality that works. The dining room, non-smoking until ten thirty, has six large round tables and three two-seat tables, as well as a bar and a lounge area with a fireplace.
The menu is a set price, at $80 CDN per person. This includes Evian and Perrier, but not wine. It is a six course meal of incredibly tiny portions. With the wine and the bread, you can obtain the feeling of just-fullness. Although the portions are tiny (in the "How did you find your steak?" "Under a potato." department), the quality is excellent. While the meal itself is certainly not worth what you pay for it, the experience of utter exclusivity is, once in a while.
