Train stations often look dreary especially when you have just missed your train. But delays, cancellations of trains they don’t bother me any longer now that I have discovered Banana Boom, Nutty Nut, Summer Romance and Soyberrry Bandit. These shakes are a mixture of fruit, milk and yoghurt. If you don’t feel like a shake you can order fresh orange juice, coffee, muffins or bagel.

Another good point is their opening hours:
Monday – Friday 07.00-21.00
Saturday 08.30-20.00
Sunday 09.00-20.00

When you have lived in Holland long enough you will have noticed that it is almost impossible to buy breakfast. The reason is that the Dutch have their breakfast at home, they usually take home-made sandwiches for lunch to work, and tourists have their breakfast in their hotel. Ordinary restaurants open around 10 o’clock, which is fairly late for breakfast.
