The dining rooms have dark wood walls and fireplaces, adding to a cozy atmosphere.
David's Bistro features French-American cuisine, but there is a definite Asian influence in many of the choices. There are steak, pork, duck, fish, seafood, and pasta options. We had an appetizer of asparagus wrapped in grilled tenderloin served with sticky rice and a teriyaki dipping sauce. The Brie appetizer sounded decadent, too. The entrees included some great fusion choices, both on the menu and as nightly specials. The service was rather slow the night we were there, but the food was great and we were not in a hurry.
I never would have expected this little gem in the suburbs, especially Des Plaines.
