Located a stone's throw from O'Hare Airport, this is the proverbial "business man's lunch" type of place. Business attire is appropriate and the waiters are very professional dressed in suitcoats. I have only gone for a couple lunches as holiday celebrations from the office. The dinner menu is similar. I enjoyed the tournedos of beef tenderloin (6 oz) and others in my party really enjoyed the veal picatta and the crab salad. Each entrée came with a Caesar or house salad, scalloped potatoes and vegetable of the day. It was broccoli with tomato pieces with some seasoning that I did not like - maybe garlic. The dessert selection does not appear to change over time and includes lemon mousse cake, flourless chocolate cake, fresh berries and white chocolate mousse cake.
Cafe La Cave is also a banquet facility lovely for weddings and the like. It is a good choice for entertaining clients or coworkers.
