A hankering for Southwestern cuisine led us to Cactus Cafe. At night from our balcony, we could actually see the hanging lights on their outside patio, and it looked darn fun. It was.
Atmosphere: There was plenty to observe inside the restaurant, including hanging strings of lights like the ones on the patio outside and Christmas tree balls. The waitstaff was very good at entertaining us AND engaging our young children, something not every establishment is good at. They actually had a tub of toys to loan the kids to keep them busy.
Food: The entrees were very generously sized, and all sounded great. Most were Southwestern in nature. Enchiladas Grande "Pescado" (seafood) was awesome, with spinach, artichokes, and a delicious sauce, as was the flavored Chambord margarita (although slightly weak). Nightly dinner and drink specials available.
Cost: Entrees were priced from $8.95 - $16.95 and well worth the price.
