It can be a family affair that everyone will enjoy at this semi-hole-in-the-wall restaurant right in the heart of Vail Village. I say "semi" because it is definitely unique, with a fun (loud, but fun) atmosphere, but it is pretty popular around Vail. I've been there when we had to wait an hour and when we could walk right in--it just depends on when you go. The nice thing about Pazzo's is that you can just walk right in after skiing and grab a pizza or take it home and eat in front of the fireplace. Don't think that this is just some cheesy pizza joint, because it's not. To start with, the pizzas are excellent and will send you coming back again and again, the servers are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is your typical, loud ski resort "Can I tell my cool wipe-out story louder than the next guy"-type restaurant, but with a flair. You've gotta try it out. Try their Azteca pizza if you like something a little more spicy. They also have a bar for those who are just coming in for a quick bite and a drink after the slopes. A meal will cost around $10, but you can always split the larger pizzas. Pazzo's has to be one of the top places to eat in Vail on any list.

Pazzo's is locally owned and has two locations in Colorado: Vail and Avon. It offers a small, cozy atmosphere with home cooked Italian. It ls like a hot spot for hanging out in the evenings, but I happened to try it for lunch.

The portions were big, and the view from the little patio was very relaxing. Defintely worth another visit for a casual meal, and I'd love to try their pizza sometime.
