The salad appetizer was a wonderful mix of greens and goodies, but the dressing was a bit strong and not the kick I was wanting - a kick that left your throat feeling raw. The mahimahi was drenched in a fabulous lemony butter sauce, and the delightful array of breads was sufficient to remove the raw taste from my throat. From wheat to cracker to basil, the bread choices were fabulous.
The decor of the restaurant, however, makes you feel as if you've flown away mysteriously and landed in Hawaii. The matching music was delightful, and low, making conversation easy, but with a pleasant lull in the background. One of our party shared several times how calming the music was, and how much she wanted to get a CD of the same to listen to all the time! They have mai tai specials on Thursday.
