Fantastic Bavarian specialties in northern Germany! What a pleasant surprise. All members of the dining party tried a Bavarian specialty (most not often found in Bremen), and all five expressed complete satisfaction with their meals. We dined outside on the strand looking over the river Weser. The service was very good (the waiter was quite funny), the view was pleasant, the food quality was excellent, and the portions were enormous. The house specialty, Hackse, was highly recommended and did not dissapoint. One of the diners hailed from Bavaria and expressed her complete satisfaction with all the meals. Yes, we all sampled all the dishes. Our recommendations: Hackse, Zweibelrostbraten, Leberkaese, and Schnitzel! The bacon-wrapped green beans that accompanied two of the dishes are excellent as well.
