Because of the reasonable drink prices and personable bartender, the night is filled with people getting together and chatting about the events of the day. During special occasions such as Thanksgiving the large floor next to the restaurant serves as a party place.
Just behind the open restaurant are about 15 rooms. The accommodations are for single and double occupancy and include a patio with table and chairs. All rooms are single story and are priced from about $18 per night. And no, you don’t hear any noise from the bar and restaurant.
I got to know about 12 gentlemen here. I had joined them for coffee in the morning before my tours and a drink in the evening afterwards. Everything funny political happenings to cost of living and owning a place to laws about marriage were discussed. I was given inside information on tours as well. This is a great place for fun, conversation, and information.
