Prices aren't cheap, but the food is awesome and the real deal at this minimally adorned establishment. Haddock, cod, and plaice are all on the menu, as well as many Brit favorites like steak and kidney pie, shepherd's pie, baked beans on toast, and bangers and mash. For dessert, you can try some rice pudding or English port trifle. If you're a yank that doesn't know your banger from Welsh rarebit, they even have a little glossary on the menu.
For you silly, silly folks who go to a place called The Chip Shop and expect something light, well you're in luck, 'cause they'll bake your fish in wine.
But why the heck would you want to do that???
