I decided to dine at the symphony resturant, because it had been so highly recommended. Allow me to start off by saying I have dined at some of the finer establishments ,I only mention this because of boasts about thier ratings from Zagats. We started our dinner with thier lobster bisque, and I must say It was very good, even better than that of albert and victoria. If I had ended my meal there I would have been ahead of the game, but I didnt, for my Entree I had the New York Strip Steak, Which was very Tough and chewy , my wife had The winery scampi Which she decribed as fair at best. The service was painfully slow, later it was explained to us by our waiter thethe reason for this was, because a party of 18 had just arrived, and it had slowed things up a bit. ( we had madereservation, they didnt). The atmosphere was fair, My whole dinning experience at symphomy was about a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10, and although I am new Pahrump I would have to say that symphony may have been but is no longer the best resturant here, my vote goes to the mountain falls resturant.

Dining at Symphony's was a delightful experience, and we felt pampered. The service was excellent, the food superb and the atmosphere warm but elegant. We prefaced our lunch with a visit to the adjoining Pahrump Valley Winery tasting room and gift shop. It was difficult to choose between the fine wines offered. There was a selection for every taste. Custom labels are offered for purchases of three bottles or more, and prices were reasonable.
