Woodman's of Essex

After a long day at the beach, Woodman's is any seafood lovers dream. The restaurant is situated along the main road in Essex, Mass. about a 1/4 mile from the bay where some of the world's most succulent lobsters are caught daily. Fisherman bring their fresh catch to the restaurant, which is then transferred to water tanks outside of the restaurant. Hungry visitors line up to pick the live lobster of choice out of the tanks and to then watch Woodman's brave staff drop the lobsters into huge pots of boiling water.

The restaurant is super casual and the lobsters are as fresh as they come. The best part: each lobster is a mere $20. Ahh, the life of a seafarer . . .
