The meals are attractively presented, with attention to local foods, thus the inclusion of duck and walleye.
One wall of the restaurant is a natural spring.
The personnel were very attentive, and the food was delicious.

The ambience of the restaurant started the moment you opened the door, when the sounds of nature and the "fog" rolling in put a smile on your face. The interior, with the exposed rock wall and the sound of water dripping, was really great.
The service was perfect. The presentation of everything from our drinks to our dessert was exceptional. The choices for dinner, while some may think where limited, were not limited in the flavour and quality. The trademark duck was the best I have ever had. The Duck Eggs (homemade ice cream) for dessert was a perfect way to end the meal.
There was whimsy in the decorations and the coffee mugs brought a smile to our faces as we finished the evening. I will not give the surprise away, but please have a coffee.
I collect salt and pepper shakers and I had not yet seen any I liked this trip. As soon as I walked in, I said to my husband, “Those are the ones I want!” I was lucky as they do sell them and I now have a great set to add to my collection.
The Duck is very deserving of being listed for the second year in a row in Where to Eat in Canada. This was a great end to our vacation.
