Call it a bower, call it a shady grove, Trattoria Simpatico is a calmer alternative to the sometimes hectic atmosphere across the bay in Newport. A great place for fish, wine, and during the week in the summer, jazz outside. In cooler weather you might lose the romantic atmosphere of the outdoor dining, but I suspect the attention to detail, food, and service remains.
