When you are in Salvador you will definitely come across Farol da Barra. I~'s an old lighthouse in a popular area of the city. Just north of there, along the ocean, is a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. Many different types of food are served (seafood, meats, pastas etc.). You are right on the beach and can get a table overlooking the bay. There is always a nice breeze (hence the name "Barra Wind". The food is excellent and the atmosphere is dynamite.
