Bravo! The Best!

The Hotel Splendido in Portofino is such a dream come true. We stayed for 4 nights (too short!) and enjoyed each day. It's close to the Chinqe Terra towns/trails. Easy access to restaurants, nightlife and shopping.

Hotel spa is wonderful - massage, facials, wellness center are all relaxing! The rooms (we had an ocean view suite) were lovely. Spacious with artistic details, fine furnishings with terrace overlooking the bay!

Suites are well appointed, comfortable bed, good lighting, sitting area that included a small couch and end chair, plus desk/chair. High speed internet access is available.

Our Travel Consultant, Donna Salerno (Ebbs) - of many years, you can find her on LinkedIn.com, did a fantastic choice for us here. She knows Italy and really makes your stay special.

Her 100 research fee more than pays for itself. Excellent value of time spent and sights seen. The adivce she gives is priceless and the customer service could not be better.

Donna Includes private tours, transfers, the works. It all flowed so seamlessly from beginning to end. We stayed two weeks in Italy and loved every minute. Very relaxing itinerary, with so much to see and do.

The gourmet dining at the Splendio with their open-air restaurant is wonderful, fantastic views of the harbor and hills. It was the small details that really stood out - Fresh flowers in your Suite and bathrooms with heated towel racks and double sinks.

The service and ambiance were incredible. Staff goes out of their way to please.

The Splendido Hotel Portofino - Don't miss it!

Even if you just go to The Splendido Hotel for a look around, make sure you don’t miss it if you are in Portofino. It is set high up on the hillside off the road into the town of Portofino and has magnificent views of the bay and the promontory from Portofino. This is one of the "Luxury Hotels of the World" and it is beautiful.

We arrived at about 5pm for cocktail hour on the terrace. We had seats overlooking the bay below us (see photos). The whole terrace is covered in masses of flowers, The staff are wonderful and then the pianist arrived to play the Baby Grand Piano while we had our drinks. We booked for dinner as well and although The Splendido is very very pricey it was without doubt the best meal we had in Italy. Don’t miss it!
