The bar meals are very good indeed and the staff are always very friendly. They do not mind at all if you only want a starter which is big and quite often sufficient for a lunch. Their fish always strikes me as particularly good and whether it is a starter or full Monty occasion I rarely eat anything else there.
The beer is a bonus as they have guest real ales and Jennings, a very bitter kind of bitter from the lake District and one of my favourites.
It is on the B6252 about 3 miles [5 km] from Skipton on the way to Clitheroe.
