My favorite restaurant in Waco. El Chico has been here since the '60s. The food is great. I can't say I have a favorite but the fajitas are out of this world. I also prefer to have a Strawberry Margarita. Did I mention the bean and cheese nachos?
Everything is so reasonably priced that college students can afford to eat here as well as families. Each table has unlimited chips, salsa, and sopapillas that are freshly made. There is a separate bar where you can get a drink, if you have to wait for table.
Whether I am in Waco or passing through, I eat here just about ever time.
