Hard Rock cafe offers pretty consistent service nationwide. Our group ordered legendary burgers, hot wings, and chicken quesadillas. Hard Rock often has open mike for visiting vocalist, but none were there the night we visited. They do generally have a band on the weekend. We all enjoyed great service, great food, and were happily supplied with puppy boxes to go. Great food, cold beer, and spicy Bloody Marys!

Of course, this is a typical Hard Rock Cafe. The food is the same wherever we have been which means it is very good! The waitress we had was a bit frazzled even though the restaurant had very few tables occupied. The day we were there was the day after Hurricane Katrina. The Hard Rock in Gulfport, MS, had just been totally destroyed. The manager of this Hard Rock was very devastated because he knew the employees in Gulfport and had, in fact, trained many of them. So, our most memorable time here is that we spent most of it listening to the manager's story. It was good to know that they were accepting donations at that moment to help the Hard Rock family. The other thing I liked about the Hard Rock was that you could charge your souvenirs to the same bill as your meals.

On our first night at Lake Tahoe, we were hungry, but not wanting anything too heavy so we opted to eat at the Hard Rock. We ordered a Cobb Salad and Chicken Club Sandwich. At this point we were not in the mood for any alcohol, so water was the drink of choice. The food was served quickly and was served at the correct temperature. It also tasted really good!

Because it was the night before Thanksgiving, the restaurant was not crowded as it would be on a normal day before "weekend" day. We were quickly seated and waited on. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly and made sure our drinks never were empty.

The ambiance is typical Hard Rock Cafe with rock music memorabilia decorating the walls. The only difference is the bar area had poker machines so people could play video poker at the bar.

On the receipt, they offered $5.00 off $20.00 purchase coupon at the Hard Rock store. Also, there was a phone number and access code to call for a survey. For completing the survey, you will receive a $5.00 gift card.
