This is a local pub/resteraunt, the food is terrific and reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest dropping in for a pint, and some dinner if you happen upon Amberley.

When we visited it was a weeknight in January, and was fairly slow. I got the fish and chips, which was basically an enormous piece of haddock, peas, and chips. The tartar sauce was especially tasty. A Bunch of beers on tap, I enjoy a hand pumped bitter, and I believe I had John Smith's bitter when I was here. My girlfriend is vegetarian and the menu was also very accomodating for her.

Then Dining room was bigger then I expected, with exposed beams in was actually pretty impressive for a pub we just happened uppon.
