Lisa's Tea Treasures

My girlfriends and I love going to Afternoon Tea and consuming sinful scones, tea sandwiches, and cookies and washing it down with a flavorful tea. At LTT, you’ll experience an Authentic English Tea, from the cozy, cottage location to the Devonshire cream, you certainly won’t feel like you’re in California. It is a wonderful place to relax and catch up with friends in a homey atmosphere and over a nicely paced Tea.

Afternoon Tea may sound like a light snack, but it is far from that! Really, with all this food going on, Afternoon Tea will probably take care of your caloric intake needs for one to two days. LTT offers seven different Tea Menus, each with an royal sounding name, i.e. "The Duchess’ Delight", and "My Lady’s Respite". There’s even a special menu for the little ones, called "The Court Jester’s Surprise." Each typically includes a pot of tea, scone w/Devonshire cream, some sort of sandwiches or salad or souffle, and dessert, such as a Lemon Tart, Chocolate Cake, or Tiramisu. Even before ordering, each table has a ceramic jar of delectable ginger cookies for one to munch on. I often have a hard time limiting myself to 10 (and they aren’t miniature-sized).
