Ristorante Ferrantelli is located directly across from Dana Point Harbor, and has beautiful sunsets and ocean views. They have a main dining room that is separated into verandas, a large private dining room that can seat up to 70 (we recently held a party there), a large chef's table, and an outdoor patio with a glass fire pit. The menu is excellent, and the service is some of the best we've had. They have a very extensive wine list, and a beautiful bar area. Try this out next time you're in the mood for a fabulous meal in a gorgeous, romantic setting.

There are certainly plenty of other restaurants from which to choose in Dana Point. We often eat at El Torito on the Bay. Ristorante Ferrantelli is located across from the marina in a charming Bostonian-style shopping center. The food was wonderful -- some of the most unusual, tasty Italian dishes we've ever had. The only problem is deciding what to choose from the menu. Don't miss the Carciofi Tostati, which is on the Antipasti menu (roasted, seasoned artichoke hearts).
