We dined in the resort’s restaurant. It was traditional Scottish food, haggis and all. Mmm. I don’t know about that haggis.

The entertainment consisted of some wonderful skits on Scottish history. We were seated at large round tables with eight other folk, all timeshare owners from various parts of the world, which made for great conversations over dinner.

The Lindsay Room

I don''t usually go for this classy and pricey of a meal, but it was billed as an evening of Scottish "fayre" and culture, and it didn''t disappoint. We were escorted into the dining room by a gentleman in full Scottish regalia. Excellent service as well as music, comedy skits by locally well known actors and of course, the piping in and serving of the haggis, complete with a stirring rendition of Robbie Burns ode to a haggis. And what a nice dining room, right at the timeshare, and dating back to the 1600''s. Really worth it.

The restsaurant is a quant little pub that has a restaurant in the back. The dining room is small, but very cozy. The room itself was decorated very tastefully and the wait staff were very accomodating. The food was divine. The soups and main courses were delicious. They use fresh vegetables and fish. They offer local food at affordable prices. The beef pie was divine. It was made with potatoes and beef in a gravy with a pastry top. The beef melted in my mouth. We walked to this restaurant from the resort which was nice to see the countryside and to interact with the locals that happened to cross our path.
